Apple on Tuesday unveiled brand new iMacs and a range of updated accessories to go with them. Yes, there’s a new 27-inch iMac with 5K resolution, but for the first time, the smaller all-in-one OS X desktop has also received a high-resolution display.
Unlike the 27-inch model, though, the 21.5-inch iMac got a 4K Retina screen since it’s smaller, with prices starting at $1,499. Apple will also keep the non-Retina models in stock, available in three versions starting at $1,099.
The 27-inch iMac retains its stellar 5K display, and it gets faster sixth-generation Intel Core processors and the latest AMD graphics. Prices start at $1,799.
In addition to new desktops, Apple also introduced three new accessories for them, including a new Magic Keyboard, the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2 with 3D Touch support. These are priced at $99, $79 and $129, respectively. All three devices feature built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, offering users a “more solid internal structure and quality feel.”
